I find it very encouraging that, as we go into the coldest part of an Alaskan winter, the days are growing longer. To wax poetic, it's a reminder that Spring is just around the corner.Granted, it's a long corner, but you know what I mean.
Precession, that mystical and magic thing.
I lived in Fairbanks for 8 years. I remember the joy of leaving work in the sunlight after being in the dark all winter.And I remember having ice cream parties in February to thumb our noses at the winter.
