Home for a Rest

No, not the Hunting McLeod song - cool as it is. :)
Nor a trip back to TN.

But I finally got a bookcase made for my bedroom. Nothing fancy, just some pine 1x12s screwed and nailed together in a manner I learned years ago in college theatre set building - thanks Bob. :) Anyhow, most of the junk is off the floor now, so it's finally starting to feel like home. A lot of the ren faire stuff I've packed or made is hanging from nails and corners, my fiddle and flute sitting on top of the shelf, candles are lit- feels almost like a regular fairyland now. Nice and quiet.

Good to finally get a rest. Tomorrow is work, and then work, and work again on Saturday. But for now, just music and books and peace.

Surely, we're blessed in this day and age to have such simple pleasures so easy to come but.
